2021 USPS Marketing Mail Rates to Increase Again

Rumors about a potential second postage rate increase in 2021 have now been confirmed. 2021 Marketing Mail rates (aka Catalog rates) will increase by 6.581% for letters and by 8.819% for flats. The postage increase is expected to be approved by the PRC and will be effective on August 29th, 2021.

This is a significant rate increase that will result in many catalogers decreasing circulation and moving up late August mail dates to avoid exceeding budget.
